ABOUT

Play against the computer while expanding your collection. Inspired by Triple Triad, the winner is the player who lays out the most of his cards in any number of rounds and matches.

The game is not a simple clone, but comes with new ideas and will be expanded by several more. Especially a multiplayer, so that the matches can be played with friends.

You are welcome to contribute your ideas. Everything I can implement will get a place in my feature wish list. Just look for the communitiy entries at the end of this site.

Warning

This game contains mathematical content and therefore requires calculation skills of the player. A simpler paper-scissors-bricks alternative is fortunately already in planning.

FEATURES

Collect new cards

Ghosts, Elements, Healer, Mirror, Poison, Kohai & Senpai - all  have their very own abilities, which complement the default cards and can turn the action on the board in any way.

Different abilities

Different types of cards provide tactical variety and different ways to defeat your opponent with the last card or just to get an advantage.

Direct and indirect attacks

Attack and defend with the highest possible card values. But beware, the indirect attacks such as Plus and Same can render even your most powerful stats useless.

Customiziation

Create your own game rules in the options and design the matches according to your needs.

• Packing: Trade cards for packings. (part of the new big feature CARDATION)
• Wall Values: Use the wall values for Plus and Same rule. Mirror cards copy adjacent wall values when laying out.
• Field Elements: Fields get random elements that influence element cards.

• Special feature when a round is completed with all the cards in your colour.
• Cardation: Transform allready placed cards with items to make them stronger and attack again
• Alchemy: Brew alchemical ingredients and put them into packings.
• Items: Use them to start a Cardation.
• World Map: Search for alchemical ingredients.

• More Cards: More cards with new pictures, values and abilities.

new abilities

• Cannibal: Attacked cards are removed from the board, fields are usable again.
• Jumper: Swap places with an opponent's card and both cards attack again.
• Stunt Double: Before each turn you can choose which friendly card on the field to swap with when attacked.

new modes

• Multiplayer: Play against a friend.
• Card Trading: Players can trade cards with each other.
• Card Creator: Players can create their own cards.
• Card Store: Creator/Artists can sell their own cards.
• Tutorial: ingame explanations of the game rules.
• Tournaments: Various presets with all game and card trading rules.

new options

• Open/Hidden: Cards of both players are visible to each other, or not.
• Attack  Mode: Player can configure default attack style - for example only 1  card value, or paper-scissors-stone, or something custom.
• Defense:  Cards that defend successfully and have a special property apply it to  the attacker when defending - for example, Poison, Healer, and Element  cards.
• 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 Field: More than 6 cards in hand and to place on the playing field.
• 3D-Field:  The playing field is stacked and the cards get two more values for top  and bottom. It will be attacked in 6 directions.

new graphics

• Ingame: Overview of active rules.
• Backgrounds: Say goodbye to the black screen in the background  and welcome scenes that matches to Cardside Place - a peacefull place  where gamer come together and just want to play cards.
• UI: Other buttons, menu and HUD elements.
• Card Pictures: Finished shading and added backgrounds.

new sounds

• Music: More music for more variety and suitable for different playing fields.

CONTROLS

• mainly use the mouse and left click, or your finger on touchscreen
• use the keyboard to change the player name (currently there is no way to change the player name on mobile version by touchscreen)
